Objectives To assess the clinical value of UPET(urokinase pulmonary embolism trial method) method of pulmonary perfusion imaging in evaluation of the improvement of pulmonary perfusion and therapeutic effect of pulmonary embolism
Methods 28 pts who were diagnosed as pulmonary embolism and received anticoagulant or thrombolytic therapy.All patients received pulmonary ventilation/perfusion imaging before treatment in 2 weeks after treatment, UPET method of semi-quantitative visual evaluation were used.
Results By UPET method, 28 pts after therapy, among 13 pts obviously improved, 8 pts lightly improvement, 5 pts no change and 2 pts were aggravated. The score of 21 pts of improvement group before treatment and after treatment was significant change.The score of 7 pts of no change group before treatment and after treatment was significant change.The improvement rate between two groups were significant change.
Conclusions The UPET method could effectively evaluate the pulmonary perfusion improvement after the treatment, and there was clinical value in evaluating the therapeutic effect of pulmonary embolism
