Understanding the clinical and scintigraphic findings of spinal CSF leak syndrome

Learning Objectives 1. Learn the clinical presentation of patients with spinal CSF leak syndrome. 2. Review risk factors associated with spinal CSF leak syndrome. 3. Review the diagnostic criteria for spinal CSF leak syndrome. 4. Understand the scintigraphic findings associated with spinal CSF leak syndrome and grading system. 5. Learn appearance on correlative imaging. 6. Review treatment options available for patients.

This educational exhibit will review the spinal CSF leak syndrome. There will be discussion of clinical presentation, imaging findings with scintigraphy and correlative imaging and of the imaging grading system. We will review certain activities that may put a patient at higher risk for this syndrome. Treatment options will also be reviewed.
