Radionuclide Meckelogram with particular reference to false-positive results

Clin Nucl Med. 1979 Jul;4(7):285-8. doi: 10.1097/00003072-197907000-00006.

Abstract

Abdominal imaging 99mTc-pertechnetate is a most sensitive and noninvasive procedure for detecting Meckels diverticulum. However, false-positive results are unavoidable. We report two in which false-positive results were obtained and present a summary of reported false-positive results.
