Imaging correlates of behavioral impairments: An experimental PET study in the rat pilocarpine epilepsy model
2018, Neurobiology of DiseaseCitation Excerpt :Image processing was completed using PMOD v3.4 software (PMOD Technologies Ltd., Zurich, Switzerland). Tracer-specific PET templates were generated through the averaging of PET images previously aligned by manual co-registration to a digital cryosection-based atlas of the rat brain (Rubins et al., 2003; Toga et al., 1995). Co-registered PET images were then spatially normalized into the space of their respective tracer-specific template by the PMOD brain normalization tool (equal modality; smoothing by 0.8 mm, non-linear warping; 16 iterations, frequency cut-off 3, regularization 1.0, no thresholding) (Overhoff et al., 2016).
Integration of 3D multimodal imaging data of a head and neck cancer and advanced feature recognition
2017, Biochimica et Biophysica Acta - Proteins and ProteomicsCitation Excerpt :This is important and makes even quite complex and elaborated methods computationally traceable. Finally, we can make straightforward use of existing methods for serial registration that are based on image data [20–22]. Subsequent to MALDI imaging the sections were stained with H&E and high resolution digital microscopy images were generated.
Abnormal metabolic connectivity in the pilocarpine-induced epilepsy rat model: A multiscale network analysis based on persistent homology
2014, NeuroImageCitation Excerpt :The images were segmented into 36 anatomical volume-of-interests (VOIs) (Table 1 with abbreviation of each VOI). We used VOI templates predefined by PMOD software, which was constructed on a 3D digital map based on Paxinos and Watson atlas (Toga et al., 1995). Among the VOIs, we chose cortical, subcortical structures and cerebellum.
2D and 3D MALDI-imaging: Conceptual strategies for visualization and data mining
2014, Biochimica et Biophysica Acta - Proteins and ProteomicsCitation Excerpt :This is important and makes even quite complex and elaborated methods computationally traceable. Finally, we can make straightforward use of existing methods for serial registration that are based on image data [45–47]. In summary, we compute a 3D reconstruction of the MALDI-MSI data by aligning subsequent slices.
