With PET and SPECT, some authors have found improvements in abnormalities in frontal and temporal regions, though not in all cases (Delvenne et al., 1996; Gordon et al., 1997; Kojima et al., 2005; Matsumoto et al., 2006). The main limitation of the present study is the sample size, which did not allow us to investigate possible subgroups of AN patients.
