↵* HTS = hepatic tumor stage based on morphologic imaging. Liver tumor stages: T2 = solitary tumor with vascular invasion or multiple tumors (<5 cm); T3 = multiple tumors of any size involving major branch of portal vein or hepatic vein.
Ch-P = Child-Pugh score (A = least severe liver disease; B = moderately severe liver disease); PS = Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status (1 = restricted in physically strenuous activity but ambulatory and able to carry out work of a light or sedentary nature; 2 = ambulatory and capable of all self-care but unable to carry out any work activities; 3 = capable of only limited self-care; confined to bed or chair more than 50% of waking hours); AFP = α-fetoprotein; TACE = transarterial chemoembolization; HCV = hepatitis C virus; HBV = hepatitis B virus.
