Positive for 111In-DTPA-octreotide scintigraphy means weak or equivocal uptake (Krenning score < 2). Krenning score scale: 0 = no abnormality, 1 = faint uptake in tumor; 2 = clear uptake in tumor but less than in liver; 3 = uptake greater in tumor than in liver; 4 = accumulation much greater in tumor than in liver (18).
