To present and raise the awareness of clinical entities encountered during Nuclear medicine emergency imaging beyond the usual diagnoses of pulmonary embolus, acute cholecystitis, urinary obstructive syndrome and gastrointestinal bleed. . To illustrate and discuss the potentially complicated and confusing scintigraphic features of these entities such as superior vena cava occlusion, pulmonary vein thrombosis, Page’s kidney, iatrogenic nephropleural fistula, and renal transplant degloving injury.In Nuclear Medicine, pulmonary, hepatobiliary, renal and gastrointestinal evaluations are the most frequent imaging procedures in acute clinical situations. Beyond the main diagnoses of pulmonary embolus, acute cholecystitis, urinary obstructive syndrome and gastrointestinal bleed, other diseases may be encountered and imaged based on the assumption and symptomatology of the main disorders mentioned above. The authors present the spectrum of pathologies demonstrated by Nuclear medicine imaging in urgent clinical settings. The exhibit has four components represented by lung ventilation-perfusion scintigraphy, hepatobiliary scintigraphy, renal scan and gastrointestinal bleed imaging showing unusual, complicated and confusing features of these four organ systems.
