Understand embryology of peritoneum. 2. Illustrate peritoneal reflections. 3. Review anatomy of greater and lesser sac. 4. Review peritoneal reflections on PET/CT and MRI. 5. Highlight anatomy and pathology associated with paracolic gutters, mesentery. Nuclear medicine physicians need to understand anatomy of the peritoneum and its reflections. There are different pathologies which manifest as mesenteric sclerosis to obvious masses and the range of pathologies include inflammatory and malignant processes. With modern PET/CT scanners, spatial resolution has improved. We present PET/CT images that illustrate peritoneal reflections and correlation has been made with MRI images
