Until recently, this was not treatable. Several novel therapies have recently become available, increasing the urgency to make an accurate diagnosis, evaluate risk, and determine treatment response. Molecular imaging with positron-emitting amyloid tracers has a key emerging role in the evaluation and management of cardiac amyloidosis. In this review, we discuss molecular imaging of cardiac amyloidosis using amyloid PET tracers, including recent advances with a focus on the future.
