Methods: 68Ga-FAPI uptake in PA and ascending artery was evaluated in 13 CTEPH patients and 13matched non-CTEPH controls. The correlations of PA 68Ga-FAPI uptake and remodeling parameters derived from right heart catheterization (RHC) were further analyzed. Results: Of the 13 CTEPH patients, nine (69%) showed visually enhanced 68Ga-FAPI-04 uptake, whereas no control subject had increased 68Ga-FAPI-04 uptake in PA. The prevalence of enhanced uptake in the main, lobar, and segmental PAs were 45% (17/38), 33% (16/48), and 28% (44/159), respectively. 68Ga-FAPI-04 activity of PA was positively correlated with pulmonary arterial diastolic pressure (r = 0.571, P = 0.041).Conclusions: CTEPH patients may have increased 68Ga-FAPI-04 uptake in PA, and the 68Ga-FAPI-04 activity of PA is positively correlated with pulmonary arterial diastolic pressure.
