The generally nonuniform distribution of radiopharmaceuticals in tissues has implications for dosimetry and, ultimately, for the biologic response of tissues containing radioactivity. These autoradiographs of a cell population exposed to 210Po-citrate show a wide variation in cellular uptake of the tracer.
