This prototype SPECT device for whole-body imaging of small animals consists of 4 pixelated CsI(Na) detectors associated with a rake collimator. Sliding iridium rods allow variation of the collimator aperture. Stepper motors acting on endless screws produce orbital and radial motion. SEE PAGE 1873.
