Five-hour and 24-h scans reveal bilateral pulmonary metastases (more clearly defined on posterior views than on anterior views), which appear more extensive and distinct on 24-h images than on 5-h images. Findings are confirmed by scan obtained 7 d after ¹³¹I therapy.
