ABSTRACT
A practical method for measuring red-cell, plasma and extracellular-fluid volume using three tracers, 51Cr, 125I and 35S as sulfate, is described. An anthracene cell has been designed which greatly simplifies measuring 35S in liquid samples. Measurements obtained in humans and dogs are presented.
