ABSTRACT
The distribution of 99mTc as pertechnetate in rats has been measured and found to be similar to that of 131I as iodide, but with higher concentrations of 99mTc in liver, kidney and gastrointestinal tract. Mean tumour/brain concentration ratio for two different transplanted rat sarcomata was 12 for 99mTc compared with 11 for 131I.
