A Study of Human Cerebrospinal Fluid: Copper and Manganese1,2,

ABSTRACT

Cerebrospinal fluid samples obtained from ninety-one hospitalized adult human subjects were analyzed for non-dialyzable manganese and copper by neutron activation technique. The mean values obtained for 88 subjects were 0.22 ± 0.15 µg per cent for manganese and 19.6 µg 8.1 µg per cent for copper.
