ABSTRACT
A case of a cadaveric kidney transplant recipient who developed progressively severe renal failure within 3 mo of transplantation secondary to renal artery stenosisis presented. The patient was primarily hypotensive and Doppler ultrasound showed normal flow. The problems in diagnosing this unusual case are reviewed. The findings on serial radionuclide studies eventually led to consideration of the correct diagnosis.
