Pachydermoperiostosis: Technetium-99m-Methylene Diphosphonate Scintigraphic Pattern

ABSTRACT

We present two cases of pachydermopenostosis. Both patients presented with joint pains and swelling. Bone scan revealed marked pericortical uptake involving the distal end of long bones. The distribution pattern and differential diagnosis of the scan abnormalities are discussed.
