ABSTRACT

Positron ranges were obtained experimentally for several nuclides used in scintigraphic imaging. The nuclides examined were 11C, 13N, 15O, 18F, 68Ga, and 82Rb. The results are discussed with respect to the ultimate spatial resolution obtained in a scintigraphic image.
