Fraction of Intravenously Injected 99mTc-Sulfur Colloid in the Spleen of Children

ABSTRACT

In ten cases, spleens surgically removed from children were counted to determine the fraction of intravenously injected 99mTc-sulfur colloid which had accumulated. Values for the percent uptake and percent uptake per gram of splenic tissue were obtained.
