ABSTRACT
Two cases of uptake of 99mTc-stannous polyphosphate in cerebral infarctions are presented. The possibility of this isotope being used to differentiate infarction from tumor is discussed and the superiority of 99mTc-stannous polyphosphate to outline the area of infarction is demonstrated.
