ABSTRACT
A case is presented thai shows the use of 99mTc-pertechnetate scintigrams in the diagnosis of abruptio placentae. Early diagnosis of this condition by scintigram can aid the clinician in his management of this disorder and, hopefully, prevent serions sequellae.
