ABSTRACT
A 99mTc(Sn)-citrate renal scanning agent can be prepared using the electrolytic release of Sn2+ from tin electrodes to serve as the reducing agent for 99mTcO4. The materials needed for this method are commercially available in sterile and pyrogen-free form leading to a simple economical preparation.
