ABSTRACT

Strontium-87m scans have been performed in 31 children with bone lesions and interpreted without reference to other diagnostic studies. Correlation with the pathologic diagnosis of malignancy was accurate in 94% of the cases reviewed. Bone scans are a useful adjunct in the differential diagnosis of bone lesions in children.
