ABSTRACT
Specific activity of 32P-labeled compounds can be conveniently measured by using Cerenkov counting of the same sample used for the chemical determination of phosphorus by colorimetry. Variable color quenching is eliminated by bleaching the sample prior to Cerenkov counting. The method is particularly suitable for the analysis of samples separated by thin-layer chromatography.
