Neutron Activation Analysis of Total-Body Phosphorus in Mice

ABSTRACT

A simple procedure for uniform irradiation of mice with 14-MeV neutrons is described. A non-destructive technique for measuring total-body phosphorus has been developed that is precise and accurate. The results show good agreement with those obtained by chemical analysis.
