ABSTRACT
A data processing and retrieval system is proposed in which a 35-mm microfilm aperture is inserted into a standard IBM card. The unused 55 columns on the IBM card are free for punched information. The microfilm chip can include photoscans and printed material such as the scan requisition and final report. A method for viewing the microfilm card and for producing prints of this information is also presented. While scans can be microfilmed and stored in this manner, attempts to extend this to include radiographs have been less successful.
